About TradeComplianceSoftware.org
This site exists because trade compliance software — the tooling that decides whether your shipment clears, your counterparty is legal, and your duty bill is right — has no independent review layer. The content that ranks is vendors reviewing themselves and AI content farms that have never opened the products. Meanwhile 2025–2026 turned trade compliance from a back-office function into a board-level problem.
Who runs it
Annik Sobing, owner and editor. I host the Simply Trade podcast (presented by Global Training Center), where I’ve spent years interviewing the people who live this work — customs brokers, export control officers, heads of trade compliance — on export controls, sanctions, tariffs, and customs. Those conversations are exactly where the questions this site answers come from: practitioners keep asking which tools are worth it, what they cost, and who actually owns them, and nobody independent was writing it down.
Transparency about my affiliations: Simply Trade is presented by Global Training Center, a trade education and training company. GTC sells training, not software — it has no stake in any vendor reviewed here, and no vendor has any commercial relationship with this site.
